Summary: As the researcher Joost Raessens underlines it, we live today in the era of information chaos, as for example the exponential multiplication of the number of sites on the Web shows. According to the Netcraft company, the symbolic number of 200 million was crossed in 2009, the surface of the web has more than doubled these four last years. To be able to navigate and to find the way within this data flow becomes a main preoccupation for anybody using communication and information technologies, which at the same time imposes many challenges on the designers who must find new diffusion and design mean, in order to meet the expectations and to capture the interest of more and more diversified users. This round table conference offers to talk about some of these challenges through the themes of the Web journalism (which is a job really concerned in the data processing challenges), of the " newsgaming " (which is a new way of conceiving and acquainting ourselves with the news) and visualization processes of data flows (we will see that these processes enable to create links with numerous dimensions of the design in particular artistic ones).
